BED Arexx Handler (BAH) version 3.3.1
This program has been created to be used with any version of Blacks
Editor text editor by Marco Negri and Paul Schifferer providing
completely configurable toolbars. Toolbars can be configured through
simple ASCII files that allow the user to create windows with the
wanted layout.
Changes since last version uploaded on Aminet (3.2.0).
- This revision include a quite interesting feature: a project
manager. It is a completely new feature that is different from the
toolbars but it is very powerful as well. It shows the currently
available documents and it offers the user a simple way to achive
some actions on them such as iconifying and displaying, hiding and
showing all through simple buttons (or Arexx commands). In future
the project manager will be enhanced with handling of custom project
files that will contain lots of useful data like documents relative
dependency and custom definitions to be used with BED, together with
the fact that different project windows will be able to handle
different parts of the same project or different projects could be
used at the same time independently. Multiple document selection
will be added to provide a way to display the documents on the
screen in a useful way.
- Configuration file can now be specified in the program command line.
- New Arexx commands.
- Error checking on configuration files has been improved so that now
errors are always displayed in requesters.
- Fixed installer script.
- Some small bugs removed.
BAH is released as a CARDWARE program, so I just ask you to send me a
postal card of your country and to contact me at my e-mail address if
you have access to the net. Very cheap I think! Your feedback will
make me decide if it is worthwile continuing the general development
of this program or just enhance it with the features *I* need and not
bother uploading it on Aminet again (or just sent updates only to
those that have reguraly contacted me, by snail-mail and/or e-mail).
My english is far from being perfect (and this keyboard is 13 years
old now!). If you find errors, please feel free to report them to me.

I hope this program will be somewhat useful for you as it is for me.
